Kristen Parker is the creative mind behind KP Bijoux—a name that nods to the French word for jewelry and captures her love for beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces. Her journey as an artist began in her teenage years, creating handmade mosaics and beaded jewelry that reflected her fascination with texture, color, and natural beauty. Driven by a deep appreciation for the earth’s raw elegance, Kristen earned a degree in Geology from Texas A&M. Over time, she built a remarkable collection of stones and crystals from around the world—including rainbow-hued labradorite, smoky quartz, obsidian spheres, amethyst geodes, and vibrant malachite. These treasures now surround her studio and fuel her inspiration. What began with bead weaving and intricate embroidery evolved into a full creative practice that blends wire artistry with a variety of unique materials. Used by artists for thousands of years, Kristen’s wire wrapping technique secures pieces inside intricate wire twists without the need for solder or glue, enabling her to showcase everything from semi-precious stones and raw crystal points to artisan clay cabochons, abalone shell, and other organic elements. Her decision to work with silver-coated copper wire ensures a perfect balance of durability, elegance, and affordability, especially in today’s precious metal market. As a mother of two, Kristen values the importance of accessible luxury. KP Bijoux offers an array of handmade earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants, and brooches—each thoughtfully designed to elevate everyday style while remaining budget-friendly.
